Payment Terms and Policies

U.S./Canada and International Terms and Policies of Payment for Minitab, LLC.

These terms are not applicable for purchases from the Minitab Store.

  1. Payment terms:
    1. For customers in U.S./Canada: Payment terms are net 30 days and may be subject to credit approval. Pre-payment or credit card required for orders under $100.
    2. For customers outside of U.S./Canada: Pre-payment (check or wire transfer in U.S. dollars) or credit card required for all orders. To wire your payment, please contact Minitab, LLC at +1.814.238.3280, by fax at +1.814.238.1702, or e-mail intlsales@minitab.com for our bank details.
  2. Fees and prices are exclusive of tariffs, duties or taxes imposed or levied by a government or governmental agency.
  3. Some orders may be subject to state and/or local sales/use tax. Minitab reserves the right to correct tax rates and/or collect the sales/use tax required by law.
    1. For customers outside of U.S./Canada: If your organization is subject to governmental withholding tax, please send or fax to us documentation evidencing the remittance of your governmental withholding tax when payment is made.
  4. If your organization is Sales Tax Exempt, please send or fax a copy of your "Certificate of Exemption Status" at the time the order is placed.
  5. Checks must be payable to "Minitab, LLC" and drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars. EFT/ACH, wires, MasterCard, VISA, and American Express accepted.
  6. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
  7. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
  8. To qualify for academic pricing:
    1. Licensed entity subscription eligibility the subscribing entity must be an accredited and degree-granting institution.
    2. Single user subscription eligibility the subscribing individual must be a faculty member or a student and provide current proof of academic affiliation at a degree-granting institution. Students must be currently enrolled and actively pursuing a degree. Continuing Education or certification programs do not qualify for academic pricing. Australia and New Zealand Payment Terms and Policies for Minitab Pty Ltd

These terms are not applicable for purchases from the Minitab Store.

  1. Fees and prices exclude GST and shipping/handling charges.
  2. Cheques must be payable to "Minitab Pty Ltd" and drawn on an Australian bank in Australian dollars. Wires, MasterCard, VISA, and American Express accepted.
  3. Payment terms are net 30 days and may be subject to credit approval. Pre-payment or credit card required for orders under $100.
  4. All prices are in Australian dollars.
  5. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
  6. To qualify for academic pricing, the licensee must be an accredited and degree-granting institution.
    1. Single user licence eligibility - Faculty and students of academic institutions must provide current proof of academic affiliation. Students must be currently enrolled and actively pursuing a degree at a qualified academic institution in order to be eligible. CEU or certificate programs do not quality as academic courses. Note: These licenses are for individual use on a personally owned computer; not for lab licensing.
    2. Lab licensing eligibility - Schools and universities must be accredited and degree-granting institutions. Lab licences must be loaded onto school-owned machines located on an academic campus.
  7. Customers outside of Australia/New Zealand:

EMEA Countries Terms and Policies for Payments to Minitab Ltd.

These terms are not applicable for purchases from the Minitab Store.

  1. All prices are in Pounds Sterling or Euro.
  2. Availability is subject to change without notice.
  3. Payment terms vary by country. Payment terms of net 30 from the date of the invoice are available in some countries subject to credit approval. All others require pre-payment (credit card, cheque or wire transfer). Pre-payment is required in all countries for orders under £100/€145. MasterCard, VISA and American Express accepted.   4. All fees and prices are exclusive of VAT, tariffs, duties and taxes imposed or levied by a government or governmental agency.

Japan Terms and Policies for Payments to Minitab K.K.

These terms are not applicable for purchases from the Minitab Store.

  1. All prices are in Japanese Yen.
  2. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
  3. Payment terms are net 30 days and may be subject to credit approval. Payments are required via wire transfer per your invoice instructions. Credit cards and other forms of e-payment are not accepted. 
  4. This transaction is the “provision of B-to-B digital services” as defined in Article 2(1)8-4 of the Consumption Tax Act of Japan (“CTA”) and subject to the reverse charge system. Therefore, we hereby inform you pursuant to Article 62 of the CTA that your company has an obligation to account for and pay the applicable consumption tax of Japan on this transaction to the competent Japanese tax office. Please consult with your tax advisor for further details of the reverse charge system.
